A Road Less Travelled

This painting represents a time when the time spent getting to your destination was just as important as the destination itself.

Into the Storm

Into the Storm is dedicated to all who lost friends, family, and homes in the storm that hit the South on 04/27/2011. I had many friends who lost EVERYTHING, and many others as well as myself was affected by this storm. Bless all who were involved either directly or indirectly.

Stand in silent solitude to reflect and hold all that is dear. Plant your feet firmly to the ground and stand strong for life and love. The silent tree is you!

Touch of Silence

I have always believed that every piece I paint is painted specifically for "someone" even if I haven't met them yet. This painting confirmed that belief when a beautiful young man of 14 walked in the gallery fell in love with this one (not knowing the name of it) and his Dad bought it for him. I talked with him and asked him why he chose it. He made a forward swooshing motion with his hands as if he were making ocean waves. I asked his Dad what he meant he said it means beautiful silence. He was deaf! Needles to say I fell in love with that family and emotions made my heart swell to tears. This is my entire reason for painting.
Thank you Brandon! From your touch of silence to mine!
