Touch of Silence

I have always believed that every piece I paint is painted specifically for "someone" even if I haven't met them yet. This painting confirmed that belief when a beautiful young man of 14 walked in the gallery fell in love with this one (not knowing the name of it) and his Dad bought it for him. I talked with him and asked him why he chose it. He made a forward swooshing motion with his hands as if he were making ocean waves. I asked his Dad what he meant he said it means beautiful silence. He was deaf! Needles to say I fell in love with that family and emotions made my heart swell to tears. This is my entire reason for painting.

Skywalk

This is 2 panels 36" x 12" each. My cat Sky helped me paint this one and name it. She took a walk across the wet paint and left her sweet little imprint. I loved it so much I left it and named it Skywalk.
