My art is inspired by the elements of Mother Earth, the Universe, and
from my Grandmothers who led me through gardens, taught me of spiritual love, and speak to me still from the depths of my heart. From my Earthly parents who always allowed me the freedom to be who I am and my heavenly parents who love me because I am. My spirit guide who is forever whispering in my ear, and my guardian angels who protect, guide, and love me with every breath.
Into the Storm is dedicated to all who lost friends, family, and homes in the storm that hit the South on 04/27/2011. I had many friends who lost EVERYTHING, and many others as well as myself was affected by this storm. Bless all who were involved either directly or indirectly.

I have always believed that every piece I paint is painted specifically for "someone" even if I haven't met them yet. This painting confirmed that belief when a beautiful young man of 14 walked in the gallery fell in love with this one (not knowing the name of it) and his Dad bought it for him. I talked with him and asked him why he chose it. He made a forward swooshing motion with his hands as if he were making ocean waves. I asked his Dad what he meant he said it means beautiful silence. He was deaf! Needles to say I fell in love with that family and emotions made my heart swell to tears. This is my entire reason for painting. Thank you Brandon! From your touch of silence to mine!
