All day I kept getting that pressure in my ears and the ringing in my left ear that often accompanies it. Silent but loud. That was my inspiration for this painting. I choose to believe that when that is happening it is messages from the Angels.

Aunt May Bird

This is a portrait I did in the early 80's from a photo of my Grandmother's Aunt. She was Cherokee but dressed in this beautiful victorian dress. The photo was black and white but with my Grandmother's information, I added the color. I also made her much more light skinned to accomodate the look of victorian.

Native Woman

Freedom and Bravery

This was one I painted a few years ago. I saw it in a magazine on one of those collector plates. I fell in love with the face of the little boy. This was my attempt to duplicate it. I don't know the name of the Artist, but did a much more amazing job. I turned the plate into a full moon. This is not my style but I wanted to include it as it was one of my favorites.
